Sequoyah State ParkSequoyah State Park is a haven for water lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. With over 19,000 surface acres of water and 225 miles of shoreline on Fort Gibson Lake, the park attracts boaters and beach-goers alike. Visitors enjoy hiking, picnicking, guided horseback trail rides, wildlife watching, nature center activities, golf, fishing and camping.

Cherokee Landing State ParkLocated in the Cookson Hills, just south of Tahlequah on Lake Tenkiller, Cherokee Landing State Park features RV sites with electric and water hookups, a dump station, primitive tent campsites, covered picnic shelters and restrooms with hot showers. RV sites can accommodate rigs up to 40-feet in length. All RV and tent site reservations must be made online.

Greenleaf State ParkTucked away in the hills of eastern Oklahoma, Greenleaf State Park offers spectacular scenery and is a family-friendly state park. The park includes Greenleaf Lake as well as cabins, campgrounds, family recreation facilities and nature hiking trails. The lake cabins and other facilities at Greenleaf State Park were built in the 1930s by the Works Progress Administration (WPA). The original buildings, constructed of native stone, remain a lasting and beautiful tribute to those who built them.
