Gore/Webbers Falls Christmas parade
December 12th, 2009 10:00 AM
The Webbers Falls/Gore Annual Christmas will be on Saturday December 12,
2009. The parade will begin in Webbers Falls at 10:00 a.m. (line up starts at
9:00a.m.) and continues on to Gore where line up starts at 10:00 a.m. and the
parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. This year the theme of the Christmas Parade is
"A Musical Christmas" pick your favorite Christmas Carol or song and design a
float around it!!! For example - wouldn't it be fun to see a float with
everyone dressed as Elvis Presley singing "Blue Christmas"!!! Your business
will need to choose a song and RSVP to the Chamber on which song you would like
to use. To keep a varitey we would like to have each business decorate
according to a different song.
Here are a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing - "Away in a
Manger"; "Silent Night"; "O Christmas Tree"; "Blue Christmas"; "Santa Claus is
Coming to Town"; "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"; "Frosty the Snowman"; "Hark
the Herald Angels Sing"; "Jingle Bells"; "Jingle Bell Rock"; "White Christmas";
OR "Here Comes Santa Claus". You can SING your "theme" or play it during the
parade - your choice!!!
Please RSVP your Christmas Carol/Song to Linda Bighorse 489-5027 or Leann
Robinson 489-5888.
