HIKING / BIKING TRAIL

WORK DAYS

The hot weather is past and time to do some maintenance work on the 19 mile hiking/biking trail at Greenleaf State Park. Come join the National Public Lands Day effort on September 25^th or join with the Green Country Outdoor Club on October 9 to enjoy a day in the forest and make the trail ready for the winter and next summer. The ticks, chiggers and snakes should be gone and cool weather in abundance. The park will be using the pontoon boat to ferry workers across the lake to work on the trail.
